This course is a fun, energetic, and comprehensive seminar program that will be of great benefit to both experienced and new instructors alike.

Through a combination of seminars, group learning sessions, and hands-on activities, this course will provide participants with a deeper understanding of the portfolios, creative approaches to ideation, inquiry-guided investigations, and hands-on activities that promote practice-experimentation-revision that leads to synthesis.

Additionally, attendees will be able to create a comprehensive curriculum for each portfolio, while simultaneously learning the necessary techniques for organizing and scheduling the AP Studio class, as well as how to effectively manage resources.

Discussions will also be held on critiquing for self-reflection, incorporating technology for research skills, and the impact of contemporary art history on image-making.

Furthermore, advice will be provided on establishing a positive learning environment and assessing student progress. Upon completion of the program, participants will have the confidence and knowledge to effectively teach the AP Art and Design course.
