APSI Course Description
This workshop offers a thorough introduction to AP Research, the second course in the AP Capstone™ program, aimed at equipping new instructors with the necessary knowledge and tools for successful implementation. Participants will review the course framework, performance tasks, and assessment criteria while exploring strategies to guide students through the research process — from formulating research questions and conducting scholarly inquiry to writing the academic paper and delivering the final presentation. Through examples, discussion, and resource sharing, teachers will leave ready to foster rigorous, student-driven research in their classrooms.
