Meet your APSI Consultant for AP Business with Personal Finance
Dr. Shauna Williams serves on the core development and implementation team for AP Business Principles with Personal Finance and has played an active role in shaping the course content over the past two years. Her contributions include designing instructional delivery models and strategic implementation supports to ensure successful rollout and sustainability of the course. In Summer 2025, she taught the inaugural APSI for AP Business Principles with Personal Finance, where she emphasized a problem-based learning approach that promotes sustained inquiry and effective AP classroom practice. In addition, Shauna serves on the AP Business Principles with Personal Finance Exam Development Team, collaborating to design a rigorous and high-quality assessment aligned to the new course framework.

Connecting AP Business Learning to Real-World Application Empowering educators to bring rigorous, relevant business education into the AP classroom. Are you ready to teach an AP course that connects college-level business concepts with real-world decision making? AP Business with Personal Finance introduces students to the foundations of business while helping them develop the financial knowledge and decision-making skills they will use throughout their lives. In this course, students move beyond memorizing concepts to analyzing real businesses, evaluating financial choices, interpreting data, and defending strategic decisions.
